Since it’s bound to happen sooner or later, and it’s been enabled on the server for quite a while, I’ve dedcided to add a AAAA record for the server.  What this means for those of you with IPv6-enabled ISPs can reach the site (albeit through a tunnel) just as well as the IPv4 people can.

For those wondering, the IP is: 2001:4830:1200:1d::2

Completely unsurprising in that had no offers for contributory writers. That was to be expected as this is one of those million and one non-unique blogs out there so of course why would anybody come here, much less write for it. Nonetheless, I’ll try to do my own original writing now and again. Watch this space!

Of course the main problem in restarting a blog that’s been dead for a while is creating original content, that’s what this post is hoping to fix. Anybody who wants to either write for or allow syndication of their content simply post a comment to this article post or a trackback, or even send me an email if you can figure out my addresses. All serious offers will be greatly appreciated and accepted.

As you can tell, all the posts have been deleted. I’ve made this decision after looking through the old archives and coming to the conclusion that the vast majority of it wasn’t stuff I’ve done. I went through lazy periods where I’d just repost stuff from RSS feeds. That’s really a big no-no and so the result of that is me wiping the database. I kept a backup of all the old posts in case I ever feel like reviving some of my original threads, but for the most part it will be locked away. Hopefully this will entice me to actually write something original and insightful.

This post is going to be a little bit different then what you’d normally see on my blog. I’ve decided to go a bit off topic to share with you one of the things that I enjoy about my blog.
